SEFT 2-1 Samba

A confusing evening out in New Jersey resulted in a 2-1 loss for the Samba Boys. The referee crew arrived in the 22nd minute of the match, and it is unsure if the match will be recorded as an official fixture or as the team’s final preseason friendly.

A very even game was turned on its head after imposing center back Mamadou Dioubate was knocked off the field injured in the second half. After his departure SEFT were able to score two goals in quick succession, including a questionable penalty.

The Samba Boys pressed tirelessly to claw back into the game and 18-year old Rijon Harrison tucked home a death pass from striker Elhadj Diallo, but the hosts were ultimately able to hold on for the 2-1 victory.
