NYAC 0-1 Samba

The Samba Boys escaped Travers Island with a narrow victory this morning.

A tight affair against one of the league’s stingiest defences was decided by a Khadim Ndiaye tally in the first half of play. A punt from goalkeeper Mouhammed Thiam was lobbed over the NYAC keeper and into the net by Ndiaye.

A formational change at halftime saw NYAC take the front foot for large parts of the second half, but an organized Samba side withheld the pressure and squandered opportunities to put the game out of reach.
