Samba II 4-0 NY Irish
Yesterday afternoon on Randall’s Island the Super Kids whitewashed yet another opponent in CSL D3 as the team continues its perfect start to the season.
The KidSuper youngsters were poor, sluggish, and wasteful on the day but still found themselves in control of the fixture from the start. Young midfielder El Hadji “Neymar” Amar got the team off the board after being slipped in alone by Sidy Diallo. Attacking midfielder Gerson Gonzalez then pickpocketed an NY Irish defender and put the ball in the back of the net to put Samba up 2 nil at the intermission.
In the second half Rami Musallam made an immediate impact shortly after being introduced and fed striker Amadou Fofana who finally got his goal on the day. Some great interplay later resulted in Fofana slipping in defender Sulayman Sanyang after a one two and Sanyang tidily tucked the ball home to conclude the result at 4 nil to Samba.
