Samba II 6-0 Brooklyn City
Earlier this evening on Randall’s Island the Super Kids slammed last season’s rivals Brooklyn City FC in Strumpf Cup action.
The young Samba Boys dominated play throughout the first half but failed to score and went into the intermission at nil nil.
Brooklyn City came out renewed after halftime and threatened a goal before Samba finally broke the deadlock and opened the floodgates. From there on out the match was one way traffic. Alieu Barrie reached Amadou Fofana, Walker Latham picked out Gerson Gonzalez, player coach Caetano Sanchez cut a ball back to Rami Musallam who tucked home, Latham tickled the twine from 35 on a classic strike of a golaso, Douglas Carrasco cut another ball back to Musallam, and then ultimately Musallam turned provider to Carrasco who floated a ball into the upper 90. Yet another dominant win for the Samba II juggernaut.
