Samba 0-1 NYGA

The Samba first team fell flat last night in Yonkers as an experienced and resilient Greek Americans squad held firm and ran out with all three points, in what has become a familiar script for the Samba Boys this season.

Samba had the better of the first half exchanges but failed to capitalize in an opening period that saw some good football but no goals.

The second half was more of the same in cold conditions until the wily old Greeks grabbed a goal with twenty minutes to play and stayed the course for all three points in a very disappointing night for Samba.
