NYPD 0-3 Samba II

Yesterday morning in Queens the KidSuper kids routed their opponents to set up a D3 top of the table clash with Barnstonworth on Saturday night.

Again Samba controlled proceedings from the start, but struggled to put the cops away in the final third and almost found themselves behind at half. Fortunately, the talented Amadou Fofana drew a penalty that was converted by talismanic holding midfielder Alieu Barrie, who operated for the first time as a libero in the defence.

Gambian defender Sulayman Sanyang found Fofana who sprinted through before slotting home a lovely goal from the right side. Sanyang was at it again later on, getting a crossed ball to player coach Caetano Sanchez who tapped it into the net from inside the six.
