Lansdowne Metro 0-2 Samba II

The Super Kids made it 9 wins from 9 as they battled through the cold tonight in Yonkers against local rivals Lansdowne on their way to the last 16 of the Strumpf Cup.

An extremely tight first half could have seen goals for either side. It was Ulises Gomez Palacios who made a sharp play and scored an unassisted goal to put Samba up 1 nil.

In the second half, again both teams could have scored and the KidSuper youngsters were downright wasteful as they failed to convert more than one second half tally, but eventually Jaime Carrillo found Rami Musallam who put the game out of reach.
