SEFT 3-2 Samba

The Samba Boys hit a new low Sunday night out in New Jersey as they relinquished a 2 goal lead over the final 30 minutes of play in the last game of the fall season.

In the first half the KidSuper unit played excellent football and Deandre Gordon had a goal ruled out for offsides, before he eventually put one home off an assist from Elhadj Diallo. The Boys doubled their lead when Camary Jonas slotted past the keeper and took the commanding scoreline into half.

A horrific second half referee performance aided SEFT back into the game, but ultimately they were on top for much of the final period as Samba completely unraveled and have only themselves to blame. Sadly, the match was the final one for KidSuper captain Papa Mane, a legend in city football, as he leaves New York to begin a new life in Dallas, Texas.
