Lansdowne 2-0 Samba

The Samba Boys fell to the Lansdowne Bhoys last Sunday night in Yonkers as the Irish outfit eased to a full year unbeaten in all competitions.

Samba played well for much of the game, but in typical fashion were unable to properly execute in the final thirds of the field. Lansdowne striker Shamir Mullings was allowed an easy, uncontested shot from just outside the box after a Samba turnover in the defensive third.

In the second half Mullings was again allowed an easy goal on a simple ball over the top as the Samba forwards neither pressed nor were the defenders aware enough to deal with the basic pass.
