Samba II 1-1 Pancyprians II

The Samba second team failed to live up to expectations Saturday night in Queens, succumbing to a 1-1 draw with their Pancyprian counterparts.

Pancyprians scored in the first two minutes of the game as Samba began without a goalkeeper, instead with captain and forward William Caverly in net. Caverly would later sub on as a striker and restore parity before the intermission, courtesy of Kebba Danso.

Samba threatened throughout the entire second half but failed to execute in the final third. Central midfielder Alieu Barrie managed to hit the crossbar from inside the six yard box with an open net in the 90th minute, an excellent summation of the evening for the Samba Boys.
