Clifton 5-2 Samba

It was another poor outing for the Samba Boys last night in Clifton as player no-shows and latenesses ruined the game from the start.

Sporting a starting lineup with 6 defenders and 3 reserve team players, the Samba first team was in for trouble out in New Jersey. Down three nil at halftime, the game looked out of reach.

The introduction of Abdoulaye Diallo saw our boys climb back into the game as he buried a penalty and created a goal for Colm Dillane all within the first ten minutes of the second half. Ultimately a tired Samba team conceded twice more on the counter to an athletic Clifton group despite showing many flashes of being the far more talented unit.
