Samba 3-2 Suffolk

The Samba Boys produced a subpar performance tonight at Icahn Stadium but found a way to beat winless Suffolk on the back of a Rijon Harrison brace.

Harrison looked lively and threatening as he continued to climb the club’s all time goalscoring charts. He was slipped behind by Guinean midfield maestro Mamadou Bah for his first, and then latched onto a touch from strike partner Amara Sesay to put Samba up 2nil. Horrific defensive work and a blown foul call from the referee saw Suffolk return at halftime with a 2-2 scoreline.

Harrison turned provider in the second half as he floated a ball onto the chest of Sesay, who did well to hold off two defenders and score, giving KidSuper the 3-2 victory.
