Samba 1-0 SEFT

The Samba Boys picked up an important win last night at Met Oval and showed uncharacteristic grit in earning a 1 nil clean sheet victory.

The team showed renewed focus, scored in the tenth minute and set the tone for the entire match. Rijon Harrison did well to head home from a Mohamet Ndiaye corner kick. Samba were perhaps wasteful not to score again, but the visitors from New Jersey also showed their attacking quality on multiple occasions.

It was a tense second half as both young teams worked hard and could have added to the scoreline. However, it was Samba who came away with a deserved three points.
