The Samba Boys came through victorious after 120 minutes of tight, intense Manning Cup action against Zum Schneider on Sunday October 20 at the Roosevelt Island Octagon.

Things were knotted up at 1 apiece as Rijon Harrison fed Cheick Kaba for a first half goal.

After falling behind early in the second period, Cheick Kaba found Elhadj Diallo who equalized for the guests.

A romping 22 minute substitute brace from Ismael Sorogo saw Samba through to the state cup quarterfinals in exciting fashion.
