Zum 1-1 Samba

The Samba Boys returned from summer break with a good performance in a preseason friendly draw last evening on Roosevelt Island against local rivals Zum Schneider FC 03.

Samba began the game well but found themselves turning the ball over for much of the half, and Zum were able to convert a goal from a set piece to enter the break at 1nil up.

With the halftime entries of Abdoul Sangare, Moussa Sinera, Mohamet Ndiaye, and Elhadj Diallo, KidSuper looked an entirely different animal and dominated much of the second period. Mohamet Ndiaye converted the Samba goal after being fed by Elhadj Diallo, and the Samba Boys were wasteful not to have scored again.

Rockshell Antwi and Mamadou Balde made club debuts.
