Samba 2-3 Lansdowne

The Samba Boys played seventy minutes of excellent football before coming up just short against local rivals Lansdowne Bhoys on Sunday October 23rd in Yonkers.

Amara Sesay produced a wonder finish in the tenth minute on a ball from strike partner Rijon Harrison. He returned the favor in the thirty sixth minute as Harrison put KidSuper in front 2nil at the intermission.

Samba began to grow tired as Lansdowne continued to sub players into the match in an effort to get back into the game. It all fell apart in the last twenty minutes as Samba conceded two set piece goals, captain Muntaha Kalley fell prey to a second yellow, and then the Irish hosts ultimately scored a late winner to steal all three points.
