Samba 1-2 Oyster Bay

The Samba Boys stepped out for an early preseason friendly earlier this evening on Randall’s Island at Icahn Stadium.

Samba rotated and tested players in the very first match of new first team head coach Ansumana Gaye. Things didn’t start super well as the team went down 2nil before half, allowing an Oyster Bay penalty goal on the last kick of the period.

Samba were improved in the second period and scored right before full time courtesy of Joseph Koroma.
