Samba 1-2 Doxa

The Samba Boys were in poor form but incredibly unfortunate to be knocked out of the Manning Cup last night at Icahn Stadium in the semi final round.

Samba allowed an easy goal from Doxa in the first few minutes of the game. However, the team bounced back and had the upper hand throughout the first half, eventually finding an equalizer through Elhadj Diallo. Another very cheap Doxa goal allowed them to go into the intermission with a 2-1 advantage.

Camary Jonas hit the upper 90 of the post in the second half but that was as close as Samba came to equalizing in a disheartening display.
