Richmond 2-2 Samba

On Sunday November 3, the Samba Boys took a 1nil lead over EPSL newcomers Richmond County FC on Staten Island before the lights shut off.

Samba raced out to a 1nil lead as Aboubacar Cisse found Rijon Harrison for the opener. Cheikh Diouf came in for Mamadou Balde at halftime.

On Tuesday November 26, the KidSuper crew returned to Staten Island to play the final 41 minutes of the game. Ismaila Tall substituted in for the now-injured Muntaha Kalley, followed later on by Ebrima Jallow and Mohamed Abdallah Ndiaye. Richmond scored early in the resumed period, before Elhadj Diallo fired home a presumed winner off an Aboubacar Cisse corner kick well into stoppage time. Amazingly, Samba then conceded on the very next play with almost no time left on the gameclock to throw away the three points.
