Pancyprians 1-1 Samba

It was a calm Sunday afternoon friendly yesterday on Randall’s Island as both teams shook off the winter rust.

Pancyprians went ahead in the first half behind a well worked press as Samba’s defenders needlessly turned the ball over. The Cypriots could have scored again but the KidSuper forwards were also finding plenty of space on the counter. Ultimately, talented youngster Amadou Fofana tee’d up Samba legend Khadim Ndiaye, who again scored against this familiar foe in his first game for the club in twelve months.

The second half continued to be an open affair for both teams and Samba were able to empty the bench and get minutes for u19 and second teamers as things finished one goal apiece.
