Block 3-2 Samba II

The Super Kids fell to a narrow defeat against local rivals Block FC on Sunday afternoon at Yankee Stadium 161.

Samba’s Abdoul Sangare and Block FC’s Mohammed Jagne both received first half red cards, and Block scored a late goal to go up 1nil at the intermission.

In an intense and exciting second half, Block scored again to go up 2nil before Cheick Kaba scored a delightful curled effort to pull it back to 2-1. Again Block struck to push the lead to 3-1 before Kaba scored a volley to pull the result back once more. Samba came very close to an equalizer but unfortunately fell 3-2 to their hosts.
